Five frogs are sitting on a log
…and four decide to jump off.
How many frogs are left on the log?
Take a moment to think about it. Got it?
The correct answer is five. Because deciding to jump isn’t the same as jumping.
I read this riddle in The Prosperous Coach by Rich Litvin and Steve Chandler. It’s a good one. But it’s not just about taking action. The real magic happens when we can align that action with our intuition.
Speaking of magic, part of my responsibility is to share about the magic of this work again and again and again so that those who want it can find it. And to do that, my intuition told me to tell you about those five frogs… and a few others. 🐸🐸🐸
I want to tell you what happens when you stop deciding you’re going to change your life and you actually do it.
At the start of last year, I shared a post about the bold, scary, and life-changing things my clients did in 2023.
It’s time to tell you about 2024. These are the frogs that jumped:
Big and Scary Things My Clients Did in 2024
🐸 Built and sold a company, quantum-leaping into financial success and career advancement that typically takes decades.
🐸 Took the huge step to initiate their divorce, finally trusting their inner knowing.
🐸 Went from being in debt and barely making ends meet to paying it all off, enjoying an extravagant shopping spree, and saving for their future.
🐸 Went from being laid off and moving in with their parents to thriving in an aligned career and an ideal new home.
🐸 Met the love of their life, moved in together, and are experiencing deeper connection than ever before.
🐸 Multiple clients set boundaries at work, making space to do what they love—like traveling the world, prioritizing their health, spending more time with family, and planning a new career path.
🐸 Left an emotionally manipulative relationship and rediscovered internal peace.
🐸 Stopped bending over backwards to be liked and instead gets to enjoy being confident and authentic at work at with friends.
🐸 Stopped settling for “life is fine” and got radically honest about what needed to change—then changed it.
🐸 Started sourcing their own love and validation, making space for relationships that feel reciprocal, fulfilling, and enriching.
🐸 Advocated for themselves at work, turning a disappointing promotion into a fast-track path for greater growth, or in another case earning a promotion and new role that was custom designed for them.
🐸 Uncovered deep-seated beliefs from their teenage years that had shaped their relationship with themself and others, and finally met and embraced the parts of themself that needed to be loved to rewrite those patterns.
😮💨😮💨😮💨😮💨😮💨
Here’s the thing—I didn’t make any of this happen.
These clients up-leveled their lives because they made a decision and took action. They were willing to go to the uncomfortable places where growth happens, determined to uncover the subconscious beliefs that were holding them back. I was simply a mirror. And when I showed them things that were hard to look at, they were willing to say yes.
When we take responsibility for the fact that our life is exactly the way it is because we have chosen it to be so, everything shifts. It’s uncomfortable at first. I tell my clients what no one else in their life wants to tell them. It’s hard to believe that we actually want the things that we claim are so horrible about our lives.
But when we face the fact that we create our reality, whether we’re conscious of it or not, then we become empowered to maybe - just maybe - create something different.
Deciding isn’t enough.
You have to act.
You have to look forward, bend your knees, and jump— ideally in the direction your intuition is pointing, though sometimes any leap is better than none.
It’s really not complicated and you can do this too.
What’s that thing you’ve been telling yourself you’re going to do for months now?
Have you done it? 👀
I want you to go from good to great. I want you to have everything you’re dreaming of because when we align with our purpose, we can’t help but uplift everyone we come into contact with. More people who are creating and living a life they love means more of that pure light rubbing off on the world, and we need that now, maybe more than ever. It’s not selfish to pursue your dreams. It’s exactly the opposite.
If you’re tired of deciding you’re going to do something and stopping there, let’s talk. No pressure. Just a conversation about what you really want. I think it’s time for you to experience the sweetness of this life.
